Wrongful death cases
When the death of a loved one is caused by the negligence of another, Georgia laws allow certain family members to bring a lawsuit for the damages that they will sustain in addition to those sustained by the victim. Our skilled and sympathetic attorneys bring a suit on behalf of the surviving spouse. When there is no spouse, we bring the suit on behalf of the children. In a case which there is no spouse and no children, the suit is brought on behalf of the parents. Eligible damages include pain and suffering experienced by the deceased as well as the survivors’ loss of financial and emotional support and companionship.
